{Sunday Musings} Winter Check In

32675-1111Happy Holidays! Hope everyone is well and staying safe this season.

I have just finished the first semester of my Data Analysis Graduate Certificate Program. I’ve had a lot of fun, and I’ve learned so much. I passed my course with a 95%, which currently gives me a 4.00 GPA. I feel a little intimidated by my next course for next semester, but I know if I work as hard as I did with my first, I should be all right.

No real updates on my health. Thankfully, except the one time I had a mug of fully caffeinated coffee (which I’ve been off since May), I have not had any palpitations. Though I couldn’t get additional testing to check out why I have low cortisol levels, I have changed my diet to try to accommodate what is recommended for someone with low cortisol. Of course, with that, I’m also discovering food sensitivities I didn’t know I had until know. Particularly with certain nuts.

I’ve really starting to get into latest my new adult novel, which is currently called Anubis. However, I’ve already thought on a better title and will likely announce when I’m deeper into the first draft. I also participated in NaNoWriMo this year. Not that I got far. I wrote 13,796 words in November, which averaged to about 445 words per day. I’m now working on a December goal (using the NaNoWriMo website). This month, I’m looking to add 6,820 words to my manuscript. I’m already at 3,841 words and averaging 213 words per day. I hoping to increase this after the holiday season.

Additionally, I’ve been working on entering past data into the Business Expenses and Royalties Database I built in Access. It will be interesting to compare the difference between the months and years.

Again, thank you for your support! I wish you all the magic of the season and will likely do another brief post in the next year.
