. . . for the better. No worries!
First, meet the latest member of the Ketch Family!
This is Litten Nikola. He is a 13-15 week old kitten I adopted on 5/19/2019. It’s been over a year since my last cat passed away, and I felt it was time. We found each other at a rescue. He’s still getting over an upper respiratory infection, but he’s settling in nicely. His name is a variation of Litton, meaning “settlement on the hill.” And Nikola means “victory of the people.” They are also the names of the cats in Dark Reflections and my latest WIP, Bly. He’s very playful, despite being sick, and a lovey. And he’s already jumping in to help me with my writing, which I’ll need.
Which leads into my other news. I have joined the Non-Degree Program at the local university. I’ll still be working full time at my job and writing in my free time, but starting next Fall, I’ll also be a student, again, taking one course each semester. This might slow my book schedule a bit for the next several novels, but I feel it will be a benefit in the long run.
Keep an eye out on my social media for updates and photographs of Litten.
