It’s the start of the National Novel Writing Month. This is my 3rd year participating, but it is the first year I’m actually writing a first draft. Usually, I’m either revising or editing. The WIP I’ll be working on is titled Bly. It’s about an American witch who moves to England to get away from her old life and winds up staying in a haunted mansion. Best part, the main character’s talent is using teas as her potions.
I’ve been excited about this novel for about a year, now. I don’t expect to reach 50,000 words by the end of this month. Mostly because I will be continuing to revise Dark Reflections while starting Bly. But I hope to get a good start.
Hi there! So how it your NaNo going?
It’s been a terribly busy couple of months for me, full of non-writing commitments, so I can safely say this is one of the hardest NaNoes I had since I started partecipating 13 years ago. But I’m still going and still making progress and this is good 🙂
Your new project sounds awesome. I hope to learn more about it soon 🙂

Thanks! It’s going. I’ve reached 5,077 words, but like you, I have a lot of non-writing commitments this month. So not as far as I was hoping. I’ll probably post a post NaNoWriMo post once the month is done. 🙂
