It’s SWOON Thursday, hosted by the awesome authors over at YA bound. Here’s how it works:
From the book you’re currently reading, or one you just finished, tell us what made you SWOON. Shout it out on Twitter with the hashtag #YABound, post it here in the comments, or grab the adorable button above and share it on your blog. We want to know!
This week, I’m SWOONING over:
Into the Fire (Birth of the Phoenix #1) by Ashelyn Drake
Logan leans forward, keeping his eyes locked on mine. He inches toward my face, giving me the chance to back away, but I don’t want to. His hand cups my cheek and gently pulls me toward him. His lips touch mine, softly at first, and then with more intensity. I melt into him, giving in to the imprint. Giving in to the longing I can’t deny. I deepen the kiss, pulling him closer to me. I’m on his lap now. I want to lose myself in him, but I can’t let go or I’ll start burning up again.
My feet are still in the water, and the idea hits me. I pull away just long enough to bring us both tumbling into the pool. In my mind, I know it’s wrong to throw myself at Logan like this, but my mind has nothing on my heart.
SO NOW IT’S YOUR TURN! On your blog and/or on Twitter, tell us what’s got your heart pounding, your skin tingling, and your stomach fluttering.
Be sure to attach your link to YA Bound and shout it out on Twitter with the hashtag #YABound.
