Hey, everyone. It’s Ashelyn Drake, and I have a special guest with me. I’ll be interviewing Asher Davidson from my novel Perfect For You.

Ashelyn: Welcome, Ash!

Ash: Hey, Ashelyn. Our names are kind of similar. Was that intentional?

Ashelyn: No, it wasn’t. You came to me named, remember? Wait, I think I’m supposed to be asking the questions.

Ash: Right. Sorry about that.

Ashelyn: No problem. So tell me about your relationship with Meg.

Ash: Meg is amazing. We’ve been together for five months, and I’m dying to tell her how I feel. You know…tell her I love her.

Ashelyn: So why haven’t you?

Ash: Why don’t girls get how hard it is for the guy to be the first one to say it? What if Meg doesn’t say it back?

Ashelyn: Do you really think she won’t?

Ash: *shrugs* No, I’m pretty sure she feels the same way about me.

Ashelyn: How do you feel about Noah’s sudden appearance in Meg’s life?

Ash: *clenches jaw* I don’t get why Coach Moyers had to ask Noah to help Meg improve her game. She’s already the second best player on the tennis team. She doesn’t need his help.

Ashelyn: Do you really feel that way or do you just not want Noah hanging out with Meg?

Ash: They’re not hanging out. He’s coaching her.

Ash: Fine! I hate that he’s helping her. Yes, I want her to have a good season, but Noah’s a creep. He uses girls.
