Best Covers of 2013

Welcome to the Top Ten of 2013, hosted by Fiktshun, Two Chicks on Books, and Magical Urban Fantasy Reads!! Today is 2013’s Best Covers. Covers are a big thing for me since I always judge a book by it’s cover, generally by content and clarity. Here are my top ten picks of the year:

#1: Astarte’s Wrath (Kythan Guardians #0.5)

#5: Blurred (Kissed by Death #2)

#6: Of Silver and Beasts (Goddess Wars #1)

#7: Apollyon (Covenant #4)

#8: The Clockwork Scarab (Stoker & Holmes #1)

#9: Goddess (Starcrossed #3)

#10: The Weight of Souls

But then Justin is murdered and everything gets a whole lot worse. Justin doesn’t know who killed him, so there’s no obvious person for Taylor to go after. The clues she has lead her to the V Club, a vicious secret society at her school where no one is allowed to leave… and where Justin was dared to do the stunt which led to his death.
