When I first wrote this Cipher, I basically listened to Paramore’s Brand New Eyes album over and over again. But music is such a huge part of the book and is one thing that brings Ashlyn, Troy, and Summer together. There are several bands listed in the book , from Metric, to Jimmy Eat World, Black Keys, Three Days Grace, and more Paramore! I’m not usually the biggest Britney Spears fan, but her song Unusual You fit Troy so well.
