Daughter of Isis’s cover reveal is only a month away, and I’m counting down the weeks with four amazing giveaways! Each of the prizes relate to some inspiration or element that went into my novel, which I’ll reveal in each post before announcing the prize.
This first giveaway relates to Daughter of Isis in two ways. One is the fact that they’re all tied into Egyptian Mythology! Daughter of Isis’s background is based on the myth of Isis and Osiris, a story I first heard in my undergraduate Reading Shakespeare course, about six years ago. But it wasn’t until two years ago, after a strange dream I had, that the legend gave root to Natti and Seth’s adventure and romance. The another way one of this week’s prizes relates is in music. A little while back, I reviewed one of the prizes for a blog tour where I added a Ketch’s Book Nook Choice Theme Song. A song that also links to Daughter of Isis as well, though I wouldn’t say it’s my novel’s theme song:
