Goodreads Summary:
He makes good girls…bad.
Dante Walker is flippin’ awesome, and he knows it. His good looks, killer charm, and stellar confidence have made him one of hell’s best—a soul collector. His job is simple: weed through humanity and label those round rears with a big red good or bad stamp. Old Saint Nick gets the good guys, and he gets the fun ones. Bag-and-tag.
Sealing souls is nothing personal. Dante’s an equal-opportunity collector and doesn’t want it any other way. But he’ll have to adjust, because Boss Man has given him a new assignment:
Collect Charlie Cooper’s soul within ten days.
Dante doesn’t know why Boss Man wants Charlie, nor does he care. This assignment means only one thing to him, and that’s a permanent ticket out of hell. But after Dante meets the quirky Nerd Alert chick he’s come to collect, he realizes this assignment will test his abilities as a collector…and uncover emotions deeply buried.

My Review:
I had been so excited to read The Collector, I pretty much squealed when I received my ARC for the blog tour! I was literary jumping with joy! So I just want to quickly send a big ‘thank you’ to Nereyda! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! 😀
You have no idea how much I was dying to meet Dante Walker. I mean, the ultimate ‘bad boy.’ So totally there! Lol. Yet despite his enormous ego and ‘bad’ attitude, I couldn’t exactly say he’s the kind of bad boy I could crunch on. He’s not like Phoenix from Astarte’s Wrath, Lorenzo from My Super Sweet Sixteenth Century, or Daemon from Obsidian. Still, he was an intriguing character to follow. I loved his voice, and I especially loved his growth. Actually, I think that was the best part of the book. Seeing this bad boy change his life all for one girl, that alone made reading his story worthwhile!
Unfortunately, I didn’t feel the same about Charlie. Truth be told, she actually got on my nerves. She should have been more aware about what was going on around her. She should have questioned Dante about who he worked for and why they wanted her soul. I mean, really? With the way he pushed Charlie to sin, how could she honestly believe his lie that he worked for God? It didn’t make sense.
As for the plot, I’ll admit, it wasn’t as fast-paced as I believed it would be based on other reviews. Nor was it really as dark, in my opinion. In fact, it wasn’t until the night club that the book really captured my interest. But the ending! The ending! OMG, that was what really made the book! It was totally awesome! I loved the battle. And I loved what occurred afterward.
To conclude, I totally can’t wait to read The Liberator and continue Dante’s story! I’m definitely curious about this new bad girl, Aspen.

The Liberator (Dante Walker #2)
Bad boy, meet bad girl.
Dante has a shiny new cuff wrapped around his ankle, and he doesn’t like that mess one bit. His new accessory comes straight from Big Guy himself and marks the former demon as a liberator. Despite his gritty past and bad boy ways, Dante Walker has been granted a second chance.
When Dante is given his first mission as a liberator to save the soul of seventeen-year-old Aspen, he knows he’s got this. But Aspen reminds him of the rebellious life he used to live and is making it difficult to resist sinful temptations. Though Dante is committed to living clean for his girlfriend Charlie, this dude’s been a playboy for far too long…and old demons die hard.
With Charlie becoming the girl she was never able to be pre-makeover and Aspen showing him how delicious it feels to embrace his inner beast, Dante will have to go somewhere he never thought he’d return to in order to accomplish the impossible: save the girl he’s been assigned to, and keep the girl he loves.

I am so excited about this book and have heard so much about it for months! (Let’s be honest the online presence has been pretty much amazing). Anyway, it’s good to hear that Dante is living up to hype (we’ll see if I agree with you or not on Charlie when I get my hands m=on my own copy).
