{Swoon Thursday} Everbound by Brodi Ashton & Astarte’s Wrath by Trisha Wolfe

This week, forever may not be long enough… since I completed two novels last weekend, both with wondeful, undying swoonage, I had to share both. First up, the sweet, unrequited love of an Everliving from the Everneath:

Cole and I turned toward the water. “Ready?” I asked.

“We have no idea what we’re jumping into.”

“I know. But I don’t have anything to lose.”

“I do!” His voice was gruff, and full of more emotion than I’d ever heard from him before. I looked into his eyes. He was holding on to something as dear to him as his own life. I knew that. I’d seen it in his memories. “You have to know… if I lost you… Why can’t you see that would be the end of me?”

Oh man! Can you believe this swoon came from Cole? I couldn’t, yet when I read it, my insides turned into Jell-O.

Now for some awesome, smoking hot swoonage and an undying love that could outlast anything, even Amenti, the afterlife:

As his tongue delves deeper into the hollow of my mouth, searching, caressing – I moan, my fingers curing in his hair. I can’t get close enough to him. And there is no way to stop the irrevocable damage its fiery path will cause once the molten heat is gone.

But for this one moment, all those fears disappear. I want him to touch every spot on my body, kiss every inch – own me, and not stop until I’m too exhausted to think of the consequences.

  5. I don’t know about that Everbound swoon, by Trish’s swoon is HOT! I haven’t read any of her books, but she is a fabulous person, and I know that I will be reading Fireblood later this year 🙂
