{Swoon Thursday} Timekeeper by Alexandra Monir

It’s SWOON Thursday, hosted by the awesome authors over at YA bound. Here’s how it works:

From the book you’re currently reading, or one you just finished, tell us what made you SWOON. Shout it out on Twitter with the hashtag #YABound, post it here in the comments, or grab the adorable button above and share it on your blog. We want to know!

This week, I’m SWOONING over:

Timekeeper by Alexandra Monir

“Michele,” he whispered, as if in a trance. “I don’t know why I feel like this.”

She found that she could barely move or think as Philip gently leaned his forehead against hers, his body so close that she could hear his accelerated heartbeat. With trembling hands, she reached up and placed her palm against his, their fingers interlacing again. Gazing at each other, a look of mutual understanding seemed to pass through them, when suddenly the grand lobby clock struck – and Michele felt their two bodies begin to rise.

Honestly, I couldn’t find much to swoon over in this novel, but this was part of one scene I enjoyed. I just wish there was more Philip. 😦

SO NOW IT’S YOUR TURN! On your blog and/or on Twitter, tell us what’s got your heart pounding, your skin tingling, and your stomach fluttering.

Be sure to attach your link to YA Bound and shout it out on Twitter with the hashtag #YABound.

  1. I haven’t heard of this book. I like that swoon but I don’t like that you couldn’t find much to swoon over 😦 .. My favorite books are always the ones where I feel like I’m going to die of a ‘swoon’ overdose or something like that 😉

  2. Nice scene though, those are great kinds to me, it does not always have to be all passionate I think. I like these kinds that are more emotional even more. Great choice. I want to read this book, its been on my TBR list for awhile.

Here is mine, its a great rare part from the guys POV (well, rare in these books to be from Reed) from Incendiary
