Summer Sum Up

Today, summer break is officially over and class starts just in a few hours. But, before I go back, I thought I sum up some of the work I’ve done over the summer.

First and foremost, I’ve been finishing and revising up the second book of the Death’s Series, Death’s Fury. Currently, I have completed 47% of the final revision. I have also set up a journal/ word document for the third and final novel of the trilogy, Death’s Curse.

Throughout the summer, I have visited seven historical sites: three here in North Carolina, and four on a road trip through the Northeast. Many of these were places where I could research the settings and lifestyles for either my Death’s Series or for my future series, Sam Cooper.

I have read twelve books, broke up with two others. Of the twelve books I’ve read, I have posted eleven reviews so far.

Total, I have posted thirty-eight blog posts this summer alone. With that, I have had 6,468 hits from May through August. You can see the latest top posts to the right on my sidebar.

I’ve also been watching my Death’s Island Book Trailer Stats. This summer, I’ve had 216 hits, bringing up the count to 663. Of these hits, I’ve had fifty-five countries view my trailer.

And, of course, I’ve been working on my thesis. Busy, busy, busy… Well, that’s my summer sum up. I’m heading off to campus. I’ll keep you posted throughout the semester. 🙂

Wow, you start school earlier than we do! What a great summer you described, Kelsey. Congratulations on all you’ve accomplished. I am so excited to continue to learn more about (and see more drawings of) Sam Cooper.

    Have a terrific term!
