My Rating of this Book –3 out of 5 Stars
My Review:
Wolfsbane was definitely an action packed romance. However, it wasn’t as good as the first book, Nightshade. Though the battles and learning about the Searchers, Keepers, and Ren’s past were intriguing, it wasn’t the same. I really enjoyed, and even missed, the mystery of The War of All Against All from Nightshade. It was more captivating. The other turn off for me about Wolfsbane was all the flashbacks that were taken word for word from the first book. I agree that understanding what has happened is important. I just think it could have been addressed more effectively.
Even so, this is awesome series and I can’t wait to find out what happens in Bloodrose (Nightshade #3).
I still haven’t read the first book in the series yet. However it is in my TBR pile. IMO The second book in series is never as good as the first book in the series. I don’t know why but 99% of the time I feel that way. Hopefully Bloodrose will be better.
